I enjoyed the modern decor and the outside patio was a nice touch.
The spicy thai chicken and rice noodle bowl was very tasty and even though it was low in calories it was filling. The blend of cabbage, spicy thai noodles, chicken, peppers, scallions and chili sauce hit the spot.
Core Life is the perfect lunch place, with tons of healthy options. -

Drove up about 7:30 and to was excited to see the patio half full of diners and a few inside. This was my first time here. I was so curious as to what it is all about.
Private parking. Lot shared by other business. Easy to get in and out of from coliseum. Hard to see if you're traveling east on coliseum though and easily passable if you're not paying attention.
Very contemporary outside and in. Modern decorations and seating line the walls. It's also freezing inside so grab a sweatshirt if you run cold like me. There are tables and booths and bar tables with high stools to choose from. Walking in the order line is kind of confusing on where to go to order. The menu board is placed on the wall and is huge so all can read. What I don't like about it, and there are a few other eateries that are like this too, is once up to the order line you have to know what you want and make sure you want everything in your bowl. TIP: you can swap out ingredients if you don't like something. There are three sizes to choose from and about 4 different kinds to choose from as far as a rice, noodle, broth or salad base. Pre chosen recipes are already on the board, TIP you can create your own. Once you've decided what you want you move on down the food assembly line watching what they do and add. My bowl maker asked me lots of questions but it moved quick. Lighting quick so be ready to know if any changes you want to make. Next up is choosing a drink which only consist of homemade teas and lemonades and will run you $3.09 after tax. Add your bowl and mine ran $15 after tax!! Really? WTH!!!! Good thing I had a coupon because that is insane.
I got a salad base and they load the bowl up with salad and the veggies and then a small 2 oz meat scoop was placed ontop. While the bowl was super fresh dressing was amazing and all the veggies were perfect there was not enough protein on top to even taste.
When done paying you sit and eat. While I love their patio idea the tray station where you put your tray silverware and bowl was overflowing, trash falling out of the container and there was trash on the concrete itself.
Inside want better. The treat station was just as dirty. Food scrapings that missed the hole, trays and bowls piled up etc. the inside tables were just as dirty. Several weren't wiped down and the employee told me salt and pepper grinders were on the tables. Looking for one there were three tables that had them and they were all empty. Don't finish what you eat? They're are self device to go stations. Literally the employees make the food and they're done.
Overall the food was awesome and if less expensive I'd go often. The decor was meh but the cleanliness was disgusting. I visited the bathroom and it was much of the same thing.
Go, try it and then love the food. Pay Ceiling high prices and feel healthy. -

Corelife is the type of place where you are either going to be a raving fan or go once and never come back again. It has a wonderful and welcoming design with plenty of comfortable seating options. Lots of light, very clean, and a "big city" kind of chic.
The food is very healthy and will appeal to those that are looking to eat clean. But be forewarned, the choices are very confusing. For example, if you order a pre-configured salad, how much are you able to customize it? Can I add more or fewer veggies? If it doesn't come with certain items can I add them without an extra charge (think Subway)? As another reviewer has stated, Corelife would be well served to ask every customer if they have been there before, and if the answer is no, then have an employee walk the customer through the process. When I visited many folks were standing right inside the doors looking around to figure out just how to navigate and order. In fact, Corelife has printed big picture menus and put them close to the front door. Perhaps corporate understands that customers get confused easily at their stores?
The food and drinks were good, but the portions were small and the prices were very high. Most bowls will run in the $10+ range and a small drink sets you back $3. The food is definitely fresh and the drink selection is very unique with cold brew, iced teas, and lemonades in a variety of flavors. Overall I liked the vibe of this place, the food was unique, the drinks were great, but it is very confusing to order and the cost is expensive. To each their own. You are either gonna love this place or hate this place - indifference will not be an option in my opinion! -

CoreLife fits a unique set of tastes. I will confess that this type of food, after only one visit, isn't as attractive to me as the wing place next door - lol. This review will be based on my unbiased thoughts.
The facility is very nice. It's new of course. However it is very welcoming and nicely decorated. The dining area is very comfortable and spacious. The outdoor eating area might be the best. I would put CoreLife on my dining destination list if you were looking for a relaxing outdoor experience.
The team here is friendly. They seem trained well for the options that you must choose. On this evening there was a lot of staff -perhaps training. The team was also professional. Don't expect table service as this isn't that kind of restaurant.
The food choices were wide enough that I found a couple of items that captured my interest. I went with a rice Korean beef bowl. The vegetables were very fresh. The rice was a mixed color - it didn't seem to accent the taste much, but it was filling. The beef was heavily flavored and spicy. The meat was tender but not fall apart tender. The amount of food is large enough to fill me up which isn't easy.
Give this place a try. The girls in my life love the healthy taste and options. -

Tried this place for lunch with my Gluten Free friend. We love to find new gf places!
Everything in the restaurant is gf with the exception of the complimentary bread. There are a few disclaimers about cross contamination from their suppliers. Easy to stay safe in the restaurant.
Dining area and prep areas were clean and well organized. Staff was friendly and helpful without being fake. You are able to watch your meal being prepared, and take it to you seat with you. Drinks (many tasty choices) are self-serve & free refills.
I tried the Chicken and Rice Noodle Bowl. The broth was by far the best part. I felt the chicken needed some seasoning, so I added salt but still it seemed the something was missing. Rice noodles were good as well. The fresh vegetables (carrots, celery and scallions) remain raw and cool. I would have liked the whole bowl to be warmer. But I liked it very much. I also got the Cranberry Cayenne as my drink choice. Super good.
My friend got a grains bowl, her chicken was spicy, but still needed salt. I'm sure it's omitted for folks who require low sodium. I can appreciate that!
Real silverware, chopsticks as well if you're into that.
I will definitely go back-I'd like to try a salad and maybe some roasted vegetables. I didn't see them until I had already paid. Next time!
Overall pleasant and satisfying. I liked not getting greasy or over-full.
4 star vs the 5 star is really just for the lack of much flavor -- personal preference. You may feel differently :)
